Job summary

Singda Superalloy (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated NDT Inspector specializing in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to support material and component inspections. The role requires meticulous application of NDT methods, calibration of equipment, and adherence to international standards.

The incumbent will collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and Engineering to ensure accurate inspection results and traceability throughout the process, while upholding safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess relevant NDT certification especially for Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• Good knowledge of NDT methods, inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and applicable international standards.
• Able to operate and maintain NDT inspection equipment properly.
• Must comply with all applicable safety, quality, and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections to detect and evaluate defects in materials, components, and structures without causing damage.
• Conduct NDT using applicable methods for Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• Prepare and operate NDT equipment and ensure the equipment is properly calibrated and in good working condition.
• Ensure all inspection results comply with the applicable acceptance criteria and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper identification and traceability of inspected materials and components.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Production, Engineering, and other relevant departments regarding inspection results and quality issues.
• Maintain NDT equipment, tools, and consumables and report any malfunction or calibration issues.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, NDT standards, and company requirements during inspection activities.
