Passion Republic is seeking a UI/UX designer to create artwork, sprites, textures and icons for its game projects. You will draft mockups for menus and in-game screens and collaborate with programmers to deliver assets on time.

Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma, plus a good grasp of prototyping and graphic design fundamentals, is required. You should enjoy teamwork with varied artist requirements, be eager to learn new game workflows, and have a passion for UI/UX in games, apps,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma; familiar with prototyping and has graphic design fundamentals.
• Able to work in a team where teammates have different requirements for item delivery.
• Willing to learn and adapt to different game project workflows.
• Passionate about UI/UX, whether in games, apps or web design.
• Able to do adjustments and cleanup work for in-game final item preparation.
• Willing to take initiatives and propose solutions for game related issues.
• Able to communicate and do follow-ups with teammates.

Bonus Skills

• Extensive knowledge with Adobe Illustrator and able to make clean layouts/assets.
• Familiarity with file handling and blueprints in Unreal Engine is not required, but it will help to smooth things out between the candidate’s and the programmers’ workflow.
• Drawing skills are a plus, for handling more detailed assets.
