Responsibilities - Design and develop user interfaces for various digital platforms based on wireframes and a deep understanding of user journeys.
- Create aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly designs that significantly enhance user experience.
- Ensure consistency in design elements across all platforms, maintaining brand identity and usability.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Replit, Material UI, Shadcn, and Gradio for creating high-quality, scalable designs and supporting intensive prototyping activities.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and Rust GUI for implementing design elements, particularly using the GIMP Toolkit (GTK).
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate them effectively into projects.
- Experience in wireframing to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
User Experience Lifecycle- Research & Analysis: Understand user needs through surveys, interviews, and usability testing. Analyse competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes to visualize and communicate design concepts. Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and interactions.
- Design & Development: Design user interfaces with a focus on aesthetics and functionality. Develop designs using tools like Figma, Replit, Material UI, Shadcn, and Gradio.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Validate design choices through A/B testing and user feedback analysis.
- Implementation: Work closely with developers to implement design elements using Tailwind CSS and Rust GUI, particularly the GIMP Toolkit (GTK). Ensure designs are scalable and maintain consistency across different platforms.
- Iteration & Improvement: Continuously gather user feedback and make iterative improvements to enhance user experience. Stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies to keep the designs fresh and relevant.
Components Of UX- Visual Design: Focus on the aesthetics, color schemes, typography, and overall look and feel of the interface.
- Interaction Design: Define how users interact with the interface, including animations, transitions, and interactive elements.
- Information Architecture: Organize and structure content to ensure users can easily find the information they need and consider a minimalist driven approach.
- Usability: Ensure the interface is easy to use and navigate, minimizing user effort and errors.
- User Research: Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences.
- Content Strategy: Plan and create content that is clear, concise, and relevant to the users.
- Accessibility: Ensure the design is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, or a related field.
Skills And AbilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
