Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking an Application & Project Engineer to drive engineering and project execution for turnkey air systems in Malaysia and nearby regions. You will collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Product Companies to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery and competitive pricing.

The role emphasizes coordinating with customers and internal teams through design, manufacturing, testing, and final delivery, with a strong focus on meeting contractual requirements and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in application engineering and project management of compressed air systems.
• Strong knowledge of compressed air technologies and system design.
• Experience coordinating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to review enquiries and prepare scope for sourcing.
• Issue RFQs to vendors in coordination with Procurement.
• Work with Product Companies to ensure timely proposals with competitive pricing.
• Support Sales in technical bid clarification meetings and TQs.
• Develop and maintain project costing summaries and commercial evaluations.
• Ensure timely order processing and coordinate with factories for PN data.
• Manage project execution to meet delivery schedules and contractual requirements.
• Provide engineering support from concept to final delivery.
• Lead design and engineering for turnkey installations.
• Review changes and variations and monitor project schedules.
• Maintain project documentation and status updates for management.
