About The Job
About the role:

Perform engineering detailed design on current projects for onshore / offshore projects and to fulfill Departmental needs and support engineering operation within the Company.

Main Accountabilities
  • Design Basis, Code & Standard: Understanding and applying knowledge of design codes, industry standards and practices such as API/ISO/ASME, etc., and interpretation of the requirements to meet project needs. Resolve problems based on Codes & Standards interpretation. Understand code limitations and apply them accurately. Review and clarify client and contractual documents as needed.
  • Knowledge of Rotating Equipment: Deep understanding of rotating equipment used in oil and gas/refinery industries for onshore/offshore applications. Ability to select correct equipment types, review vendor options, witness testing, and support site queries.
  • Material Selection: Knowledge of materials used for different services, review vendor proposals, and provide feedback based on process input and corrosion studies.
  • Working Deliverables: Prepare technical data sheets, specifications, material requisitions, and other technical documentation efficiently and timely.
  • Vendor Data Review (VDR): Conduct expert reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. Interface with other disciplines and participate in vendor meetings.
  • Fabrication Knowledge: Understand fabrication processes and critical elements affecting delivery schedules.
  • Lead Engineer Role: Provide leadership, monitor progress, and coordinate resources for project execution.
  • Technical Audits: Conduct technical audits as requested and resolve quality issues.
  • Others: Maintain professional judgment, produce quality deliverables, and supervise junior engineers. Ensure QA/HSE compliance.

About you:

Candidates should possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Hons) with at least 7 years of experience in engineering design for package equipment in onshore/offshore applications, preferably with experience in Green Hydrogen, Electrolyzer, and Carbon Capture Storage Projects.
