Job summary

Hatten Group Sdn. Bhd. in Malacca is seeking a dedicated child caretaker to provide full care for infants and young children, including feeding, bathing, and daily routines, within a safe and hygienic environment.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing, Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Psychology, or related fields, with multilingual communication being an advantage. You will engage kids with age-appropriate activities and work with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Psychology or Education related field.
• Certificate in PERMATA KAP is an added advantage.
• Registered with Malaysian Nursing Board would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones.
• Provide full care for newborns including feeding, diaper changes, bathing, soothing, and interactive play.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by disinfecting the main areas such as baby’s bedroom, bathroom and playground.
• Create a hygienic, nurturing classroom environment in line with regulations.
• Wash and sanitize baby clothes and daily items daily.
• Apply professional childcare knowledge for early stimulation and infant massage.
• Guide babies to develop healthy routines and daily habits.
• Ensure nutritional needs of the children are met.
• Administer basic medical care and first aid as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and follow the family’s childcare plan.
• Observe and record health, growth and milestones, sharing updates with parents.
• Support developmental activities and emotional care in a structured routine.
• Complete other childcare duties as required.
