about the job

You'll be at the forefront of our client relationships, working directly with a dedicated team to:

1. Strategically place risks with reinsurers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and coverage that directly address our clients' unique needs.
2. Build and nurture long-term relationships with both cedants and reinsurers, becoming their trusted advisor for new and renewal business.
3. Provide expert advice to cedants on reinsurance structures and coverage programs.
4. Be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are not just met, but exceeded.
5. Drive business growth by actively participating in industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our services and products.
6. Craft compelling presentations and client materials that showcase our value.
7. Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure you're always providing the most informed support to your clients.
8. Manage market inquiries and external requests efficiently.

requirements

• A degree holder, with an actuarial background preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in treaty reinsurance, ideally with broking experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel both locally and internationally to expand your professional network.
• A client-first mindset, always acting in their best interests and the firm's.
• Problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and consider long-term solutions.
• Strong understanding of key competitors and industry best practices.
