Job summary

Hytech is a leading management consulting firm with a strong international footprint, including Malaysia. The Treasury Supervisor (Virtual Assets) role sits in the Finance team to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations across wallets, card services, and wealth management products.

You will lead reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, collaborating with Product, Technology, and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, banking, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance/audit; FinTech/payments/virtual assets exposure is a plus.
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting and MS Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables).
• Experience handling multi-currency transactions (virtual assets and fiat).
• Good English communication; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across wallet systems, card platforms, bank accounts, payment providers, and exchanges.
• Prepare and post journal entries for wallet, card, and wealth management transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with multi-currency accounting and exchange gain/loss recognition.
• Track and analyze key metrics like transaction volumes, fund utilization, and user-level profitability.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support decision-making; collaborate with Tech, Product, and Risk teams.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reconciliation efficiency and reporting accuracy.
