Job summary

GX Bank Berhad is seeking a Treasury Business Middle Office professional to manage counterparty onboarding, risk analysis, and daily treasury operations. You will support front and back office to resolve bottlenecks, coordinate audits and regulatory queries, and assist in vendor management and automation initiatives.

The role requires 2–3 years in treasury-related roles, a finance-related degree, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with AI tools and scripting basics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in Treasury Business Management, Treasury Operations, or Middle Office within a commercial/digital financial institution.
• Experience in credit analysis and evaluating financial statements to support annual credit reviews.
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and operational requirements for Money Market, Fixed Income, FX, and IRS.
• Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint; Word for documentation control.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and workflow automation; basic Python/SQL knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end counterparty onboarding and periodic reviews for trading MM, Bonds, FX, and IRS.
• Manage annual credit/KYC reviews to ensure continuous trading capabilities.
• Support Front Office and Back Office in resolving daily workflow bottlenecks and audits.
• Coordinate vendor management, contract renewals, security reviews, and SLA monitoring.
• Assist in design and development of new operational workflows and regulatory reporting builds.
