Job summary

GX Bank Berhad is seeking an experienced Treasury Operations professional to lead counterparty onboarding, credit risk analysis, and end-to-end lifecycle management across MM, Bonds, FX, and IRS. The role supports Front and Back Office, audits, and regulatory reporting initiatives within a digital banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 2–3 years in Treasury BMU/Operations or Middle Office in a commercial/digital financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end counterparty onboarding and periodic reviews for MM, Bonds, FX, and IRS.
• Manage annual credit/KYC review lifecycles for continuous trading across institutions and corporates.
• Provide desk support and resolve daily workflow bottlenecks and operational challenges.
• Act as primary operational coordinator for internal/external audits and BNM queries with compliance.
• Support technology initiatives in Front and Back Office including TMS upgrades and reporting builds.
• Collaborate with Front Office, project managers, and developers on new workflows, risk capabilities, and digital infra.
• Support RENTAS developments initiated by Bank Negara Malaysia.
• Oversee external vendor relationships end-to-end including contract renewals and SLA management.
• Prepare strategic monthly and ad-hoc executive presentations with financial and performance data.
