About the job

This newly established role will lead the ASDC Treasury team, overseeing operations for the ISEA region (India, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia). Responsibilities include processing payments, supporting cash management activities, reconciling bank accounts, managing documents, and delivering treasury reports.

The Manager will also spearhead the centralization of the operational treasury function under the Asia Service Delivery Center (ASDC).

Responsibilities:

• Process payments to third parties, monitor and resolve issues to ensure execution.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to provide necessary documents for forex payments.
• Prepare payment summaries and submit to Treasury Planning team for cash management.
• Manage short-term (1-3 months) cash forecasting in Treasury Management System.
• Monitor and secure CBU liquidity.
• Confirm treasury transactions promptly.
• Execute and monitor fund transfers.
• Coordinate dividend payments & DFI transactions with relevant parties.
• Prepare forex hedging requests for Front Office execution.
• Ensure bank statements are properly interfaced with SAP and balances reconciled daily.
• Coordinate with IT and banks to resolve interface issues.
• Post treasury transactions (TD placements, loan drawdowns, internal transfers).
• Post bank transactions when automatic posting isn't available.
• Reclassify improper interest and bank charges to correct GLs.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports and secure timely approval.
• Review bank accounts periodically.
• Prepare and submit management reports monthly, quarterly, and as needed.
• Meet local Central Bank reporting requirements (e.g., LLD).
• Coordinate feedback for SIMODIS reporting as required by the Central Bank.
• Maintain and update banking documentation.
• Manage bank access and authorized signatories.
• Handle account opening/closure and setup (GL accounts, electronic bank statements).
• Process Bank Guarantees.
• Follow up with banks on documentation & KYC requirements.
• Implement internal controls to ensure policy compliance.
• Guide local finance teams on treasury matters per group policies.
• Collaborate across teams on treasury initiatives and projects.
• Address system interface issues with banks and IT.
• Contribute to IS projects to improve cash management processes.

About you

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Treasury, Accounting, or Finance.
• Knowledge of e-banking tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Kyriba or similar Treasury Management Systems is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in team management is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong sense of responsibility and process ownership.
• Effective time management and planning skills.
• Proactive, initiative-taking, and capable of multitasking.
• Team player with adaptability and attention to detail.
