Job summary

UNIGRA FOOD PROCESSING ASIA PACIFIC SDN BHD is seeking a Treasury Executive to join the Finance team in Malaysia. The role focuses on treasury operations, accounts receivable functions, and trade-related activities, with oversight of foreign exchange monitoring to ensure accurate processing of all treasury transactions.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting degree with ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualifications welcomed, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting credentials (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) welcomed.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant treasury/finance experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Update daily accounting entries and verify against system postings.
• Manage Accounts Receivable processes including credit policy and aging.
• Ensure accuracy of AR collections and reconciliations.
• Handle trade finance activities: LC, bonds, performance guarantees.
• Process import/export banking including LC issuance/collection.
• Gather information for trade/import financing.
• Monitor foreign exchange rates and risk exposure.
• Liaise with banks and payment providers.
• Ensure timely treasury transactions are posted in the system.
• Assist monthly closing and reporting.

Job description

Treasury Executive position within the Finance team at Unigrà, an Italian agro-food group. The role involves managing treasury operations, accounts receivable functions, trade-related activities, and foreign exchange monitoring to ensure accurate and timely processing of all treasury transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and check daily accounting transactions against postings made into the system
• Manage Accounts Receivable functions including credit limit insurance, credit term policy, aging monitoring, and provision
• Ensure accuracy of collection on the AR
• Handle trade-related activities such as Letters of Credit, bonds, and performance applications
• Process import and export related banking business including issue of letter of credit and letter of credit collection
• Collect and arrange information required for trade/import financing
• Monitor and analyse foreign exchange rates
• Liaise with banks and payment service providers
• Ensure all treasury related transactions are processed in system timely and accurately
• Responsible for submission of monthly closing accounts on timely manner

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Accounting
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA holders are welcome to apply
