Job summary

FPG Oleochemicals is seeking a Finance Associate – Treasury (Temporary) in Malaysia to support cash management, banking relations, and treasury controls. The role requires a university degree in accounting or business and at least 3 years in treasury or related areas.

You will handle cash forecasting, hedging, SAP postings, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or Business.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Treasury or accounting experience.
• Experience in Treasury within manufacturing or banking environments preferred.
• Proficient in SAP Cash Management and Banking modules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Treasury projects, including cash management and payments improvements.
• Prepare and submit treasury reports on time (Bank Negara ECM, monthly reports, month-end reconciliations).
• Review banking facilities and investments to optimise costs and profitability.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets for interest costs and bank fees.
• Review daily cash position and funding strategies.
• Execute forward hedging and reconciliations.
• Post bank transactions in SAP with accurate reconciliation.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors on treasury matters.
• Coordinate with internal auditors on CSA requirements for Local Cash Management.
• Arrange supplier payments and manage daily banking for priority vendors.
• Assist in developing and updating treasury policies and cash management system.
• Manage petty cash, maintain float and reimbursements.
• Coordinate special payment methods including IDC, BA and LC.
• Manage bank guarantees and borrowings with approvals.
• Coordinate dividend payments with local management and JV partners.
