Job Description:
This role is responsible for treasury management for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, with a specific focus on liquidity and cash management, FX, and bank guarantee requirements for these markets. The position supports short-term liquidity needs through the use of cash and other financial instruments. Responsibilities include managing cash, working capital, foreign currency exposure, and money market investments. The role also involves identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and organizational risks. Additionally, this position contributes to the development of financial policies, conducts economic analysis, and collaborates with various Finance functions.
Responsibilities:
Oversees liquidity and cash management, FX operations, and bank guarantee processes for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Applies specialized knowledge in treasury operations, risk management, and financial solutions to support and implement regional initiatives.
Analyzes financial data to produce insights and summaries for treasury program reporting.
Supports program delivery with practical application of subject matter expertise.
Manages specific treasury processes within the function.
Leads moderately complex treasury projects across assigned regions.
Maintains and updates treasury policies and procedures.
Education and Experience Required:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Typically 1+ years of relevant experience in finance, audit, and/or accounting.
Knowledge and Skills:
Sound understanding of treasury processes and other finance-related functions.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to treasury in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid financial and business acumen.
Demonstrated project management capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to read and write in Bahasa and Mandarin. Mandarin proficiency is required to support operations in China and Taiwan.
