The Position

As a T&E Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate assessment of employee expense claims for compliance with company policies and regulations, documenting assessment results in Concur, escalating issues as needed, and supporting compliance programs, reporting, and training material preparation.

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities (Operational):

  1. Assess compliance of employee expense claims promptly and accurately, against the Company’s Policies, Procedures, and External regulatory requirements.
  2. Participate in compliance programs, projects, and ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor/HOD.
  3. Document all compliance assessment activities in Concur during claim processing, escalate issues, and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the RSS Line Manager and Affiliate as required.
  4. Support the preparation of reports and training materials periodically to update the compliance monitoring process.

Key Responsibilities (Continuous Improvement):

  1. Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improving compliance documentation (e.g., review manuals, return reason coding). Make appropriate recommendations to HOD for process improvements and participate in solution activities.

Who You Are:

  1. University degree or higher, preferably in business, law, or finance.
  2. Over 2 years’ experience in compliance reviews or similar roles in highly regulated environments or audit firms.
  3. Strong analytical skills with professional skepticism, innovative thinking, and team collaboration.
  4. Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese (to support Japan counterparts). Understanding of pharma business risks is a plus.
  5. Motivated, with a strong sense of ownership, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Note: Applications from individuals with less than 2 years’ experience will be considered for the Associate Compliance Analyst level.
