Job description

Mission

1. Propose the best International Transport Scenario thinking Global Cost and validating & preparing the operational backup solutions.
2. Negotiate the best rates & challenge the costs of my partners in local and global transport tenders.
3. All my transport lanes are referenced in transport systems with the right commitment.
4. Promote the local autonomy of all concerned actors in transport through a collaborative action.
5. Set up the operations process of new flows (destination, products...).
6. Lead the QMR with My Sea Partners: to ensure the level of service + Lead Time + costing + equipment quality.
7. Pilot the activity every month for the next 3 months to ensure the space protection + Pilot the equipment type needs. The piloting has to be available for the procurement department (online).
8. Benchmark the transport market & master the Transport topics.
9. Ensure my economic responsibility: Allocation; Equipment type; Stuffing rate to guarantee the Best Cost/CBM.
10. Ensure the right supply chain and the order management to ship just on time (no advance / no delay).
11. Train the staff & ensure that they are complying with our requirements.
12. Monitor the activity through a strong reporting & analysis Carrier Management, Order Management & Vendor Management.
13. Handle import/export documentation including e-commerce activities.
14. Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure on-time clearance of consignment and ensure 100% customs compliance.
15. Alert the stakeholders if there is a change in regular Transport regulations that impacts our business.
16. Conduct Self-Assessment (audit) periodically to ensure our business units are compliant.
17. Support operations team in case of any blockings or process changes.
18. Collaborate with IT team to develop/improve efficient IT tools for Transport & Customs.
19. Create a task force to determine action plans to address and solve any Transport related issue.
20. Maintain a worldwide customs Network within our Group Companies to share best customs practices and knowledge.
21. Establish and maintain ALL SOPs related to Import, Export, and Customs activities.
22. Handle Internal & External projects.
    
    

Profile

Who Are We Looking For?

1. The candidate must be self-started, know how to work independently, receive minimal guidance, solve complex problems, and take a new perspective using existing solutions.
2. You may have to interact with Country, Regional, Global teams, and external stakeholders (like Customs, Liner, Forwarder, Consultants) to drive customs & trade compliance and execute Imports/Exports transactions.
3. 3-5 years of relevant experience in International Transport, Customs, Compliance, and International Trade with a bachelor's degree.
4. Experience in managing audits, in partnership with internal cross-functional teams, government officials, and external consultants, as well as conducting internal health checks / self-audits / risk-assessments.
5. Excellent verbal communication and a very strong written communication skill.
6. Any other professional certificates in supply chain, customs, or training about the job will be an added advantage.
7. Applies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes, or services.
8. Proficient in MS Excel, Google tools, RPA, SAP, AFO, Dagang Net.
9. Passionate about Sports.
