A leading pharmacy chain in Malaysia is seeking a Training Manager to develop and implement training programs for pharmacists and ground staff. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in training and development, showcasing strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Training Programs
  2. Plan & deliver hands-on training sessions to pharmacists and ground staff, focusing on sales strategies, customer engagement, and technical product knowledge.
  3. Deliver dynamic and interactive instructor-led training sessions for employees at all levels via virtual/face-to-face formats.
  4. Create engaging training materials such as presentations, workbooks, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercises.
  5. Coordinate Training Sessions
  6. Schedule and manage logistics for training sessions, including venue selection, equipment setup, and participant registration.
  7. Coordinate with trainers, speakers, and facilitators to ensure smooth execution.
  8. Evaluate Training Effectiveness
  9. Monitor and track training effectiveness using evaluations, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.
  10. Conduct comprehensive training needs analysis by evaluating organizational goals, team skills, and knowledge gaps.
  11. Collaborate with HR and other departments to align training objectives with company strategies.
  12. Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address specific sales gaps and create tailored programs.
  13. Provide strong leadership and guidance to team members, set clear goals, and monitor performance.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture by encouraging open communication, innovation, and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in training and development, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; analytical, problem-solving, result-oriented.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support events and training programs.
  • Must be able to work at Caring HQ (PJ) and Bukit Raja 2 (future new HQ).
