Responsible for managing the activities and operations related to employee training and development services including the planning and coordination of identifying competence development methods, training needs determination, development of training programmes and/or other competence enhancement programmes and evaluation of its effectiveness and ensuring the implementation, maintenance and improvement of BMS within the function.
Develops policies, processes and sets standards for employee training and development management within the Centre.
Plans the approaches for ensuring the compliance of employee training and development management services with BMS requirements.
Plans, implements and monitors the requirements for providing employee training and development management services for the Centre, including:
Develops and plans with the Director of Human Resource, the Centre’s knowledge management programme, including the identification of training and education needs for the Centre’s employees.
Plans with the Director of Human Resource, the administration of contract activities for the Centre’s human resources consultant and training providers, including monitoring compliance with contract, legal and other requirements.
Plans and prepares the annual operational budget (CAPEX and OPEX) and KPI for training and development activities and services as well as its personnel.
Plans the day-to-day management of BMS and Business Continuity risks relevant to the function’s activities and the achievement of BMS objectives and targets.
Develops plans to improve and build employee competence, well-being, and morale.
Keeps abreast of new professional, technological and market developments with respect to training and development in the Hospitality or MICE industry, especially with respect to competency development, and plans the action necessary for their implementation.
Manages the following activities:
Administration of contracts including all matters related to payment to consultant and training provider.
Liaises with local authorities and relevant governmental agencies when necessary.
Manages the day-to-day function activities, including the operational budget, management of BMS risks relevant to the function’s activities and the achievement of its BMS objectives and targets.
Manages the implementation of new professional, technological and market developments with respect to training and development management in the Hospitality or MICE industry, especially with respect to competency development, and the action necessary for their implementation.
Improves and builds subordinate employee competence, well-being, and morale.
