Job description

Responsibilities

The Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs to educate and enhance the skills of employees within an organization or clientele. This role involves designing training materials, facilitating sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs to ensure maximum impact on performance and organizational goals.

Main Responsibility

•Conduct training course(s) as per assigned/training schedule

•Conduct piloting training for new training materials

•Design, develop, and customize training programs and materials to address specific needs.

•Participate in events including webinars, conferences, workshops and meetings serving in roles as host, speaker, observer, and attendees.

•Ensure alignment of training materials with educational standards and industry best practices.

•Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions by employing various instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles.

•Demonstrate expertise in the subject matter being taught and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

•Integrate technology into training sessions to enhance learning and stay informed about educational technology tools and resources.

•Collaborate with other trainers to share best practices and improve training programs.

•Participate in professional development opportunities.

•Adapt training methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Additional Responsibility

•To help promote company’s product(s) or service(s) during training to trainee(s)

•Collect feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs and use the insights for continuous improvement.

•Stay current with industry trends and advancements, actively engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance training skills.

•Inspire and motivate learners to actively participate in training activities and foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

•Ensure compliance of training programs with pertinent accreditation standards and regulations while staying informed about changes in educational policies and standards.

•To carry out any other task to be assigned by the Management from time to time

To undertake any temporary roles related to project-based or company initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

Education: A recognized Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or relevant technical discipline.

Experience: At least 5 years working experience in related to providing professional services.

Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation, Advanced Level, TTT Certified by HRDC and other relevant certifications

Language: Good written and oral communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Mandatory Required Skills

•Proven experience as a trainer, facilitator, or educator, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.

•Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively

•Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences

•Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies, with proven ability to apply these concepts effectively in training program development.

•Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other training technologies to facilitate training delivery and management.

Qualities:

•Demonstrate expertise in the subject matter being taught and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

•Deep understanding of the subject matter being taught, including relevant theories, concepts, and best practices

•Capability to manage time efficiently during training sessions, covering all planned content while allowing for interaction and engagement

Other Requirements:

Skill in managing training projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
