Trainee, Shipping/ Supply Chain (Open for Fresh Graduate)

Responsibilities

1. Handle full set of export shipping documentation and prepare necessary shipping documents for bank negotiations, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.
2. Ensure all shipping document releases comply with policies and procedures.
3. Ensure full Letter of Credit (L/C) compliance.
4. Liaise and follow up internally with forwarders/carriers for shipment/delivery status worldwide.
5. Manage day-to-day shipping transactions of the trading companies.
6. Recommend and develop solutions for continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring successful implementation across the team and business groups.
7. Support ad hoc duties as required by the department or Shipping Team Lead/Manager.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willing to be based at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur (accessible by LRT).
