The Opportunity:

Our client – a leading UK-based manufacturer ofspecialist liquid inks– is looking to recruit aTrainee Sales Executiveto support business growth across the Southern UK region. The role is ideal for someone either inaccount managementor withhands-on ink experience(e.g., in-plant technician or print room operative) who understands ink performance, application challenges, and production environments – and now wants to take that knowledge into the commercial space.

Your Role:

You will be trained and supported to:

  • Engage with new and existing customersin various packaging sectors.
  • Learn how toidentify new business opportunitiesfor solvent-based and water-based liquid inks.
  • Arrange and attend customer visits, building confidence in presenting solutions and understanding customer needs.
  • Work alongside technical colleagues tosupport product trials, problem-solving, and customer training.
  • Develop the skills tomanage accounts, grow relationships, and contribute to long-term partnerships.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, learning the sales process from first contact through to order placement and follow-up.
