Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trading Support Executive (Precious Metals) to join our precious metals trading team. This role offers hands-on experience in the physical precious metals and foreign exchange markets. You will support daily trading operations, monitor markets, and ensure smooth execution of transactions while collaborating with traders and the business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support trading activities for precious metals including gold, silver, and PGMs.
  • Evaluate purchasing decisions, focusing on profitability.
  • Review trade-related documents, such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs), to ensure compliance before sending to customers.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure payments are made on time.
  • Maintain and update customer records and assist in managing customer relationships.
  • Assist in preparing reports on activities, customer acquisition, profitable customer targets, and trading performance.
  • Utilize trading platforms to support hedging activities and manage basic price risk.
  • Reconcile trading positions and prepare end-of-day reports for the finance team.
  • Ensure accurate execution and pricing of internal and external trades, including spot and forward transactions.
  • Maintain and organize order books and ensure effective communication with trading and management teams.

Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accountancy.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
