Develop and execute buying strategies designed to meet or exceed sales, margin, and inventory turnover goals.

Manage all aspects of the merchandise offering, including product selection, vendor negotiations, promotional planning, store placement, and distribution.

Manage the given category to ensure stock availability at healthy levels and sales achievement.

Collaborate with the marketing team to design marketing and promotional plans that maximize incremental sales. Ensure accuracy of promotional information, including pricing and signage.

Establish a collaborative relationship with the supply chain team to ensure proper balance and availability of merchandise.

Conduct frequent store visits, as well as visits to other retail stores, to identify new trends and opportunities, evaluate merchandise mix, monitor competition, and translate findings into actionable product plans.

Handle administrative tasks such as new product listings, cost/price changes, and inventory management as needed.

Able to communicate and work with suppliers on new store setups and stock management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/training.

Preferred Experience: 2 or more years in related fields, especially in Beauty - Skin Care/Cosmetics.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong merchandising, product knowledge, trend awareness, and analytical skills.

Strategic thinker with attention to detail, good commercial sense, and analytical skills.

Team player with a positive attitude, able to multitask and handle ad-hoc requests.
