The position is responsible for procurement of CPO/CPKO which meet the sustainability requirement and under the TTP/VDF guidelines. It is important to ensure consistent supply of CPO/CPKO for the production plant while meeting quality standard of Bunge and customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing contracts and agreements with suppliers, including price negotiations and terms and conditions
• Build strong supplier network to ensure consistent quality, supply and competitive prices.
• Leverage on the strong supplier network to gather market intel and updates on industry trends and pricing, supply chain performance, and supplier activities to analyze and identify opportunities and make informed decisions where applicable
• Involve in daily raw material receiving and planning matters.
• Maintain and build external network of raw material suppliers and by-product customers
• Close collaboration with planning and quality team to plan and execute procurement of CPOs.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules
• Work closely and engage the BG sustainability team during meetings with suppliers to ensure all sustainability requirements are adhered to and achieve better sustainability scores
• Work closely with different stakeholders to resolve any issues relating to production and logistics
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of CPOs
• Handle ad-hoc requests from internal and external parties such as audits by US CBP, sustainability request, quality request, sales team

DESIRED QUALITIES/ SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree and above with 5 to 10 years of experience in Palm and CPO industry
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong multi-tasking skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.
• Logical and analytical skills for Physical trading and risk management
• Capable, enthusiastic and strong communication & people management experience.
• Expert in the different grading of palm, laurics and other specialty fat by products
• Good knowledge in production planning, tank management, logistics optimization
