Universal Robina Corporation is looking for Senior Executive, Trade Marketing (Malaysia).
To provide support in executing and monitoring trade marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales in international markets. Develops localized plans and programs aligned to the overall brand objectives and strategies.
What are their Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Assists in implementing comprehensive trade marketing strategies tailored to diverse international markets, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives and local market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate promotional activities, product launches, and inventory management, ensuring seamless execution across all channels.
- Market Analysis: Generate market insights and broad analysis with available market researches to assist in formulating trade programs and activities to help boost sales.
- Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment and achieve sales targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing activities, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build rapport with key stakeholders, including but not limited to distributors, retailers, and most importantly internal teams, to facilitate collaboration and drive mutual success.
- Campaign Implementation: Assists and at times (depending on the program) oversees the end-to-end execution of trade marketing campaigns, including procuring and packing product samples, coordinating timely courier deliveries, and conducting pre & post-campaign evaluations to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Global Coordination: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively across different time zones, ensuring timely communication and collaboration with international teams and partners.
- Sense of Urgency: Exhibit a proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency to respond swiftly to market changes, stakeholder needs, and time-sensitive opportunities, ensuring that trade marketing initiatives are executed promptly and effectively.
What are the Qualifications:
- Minimum at least Degree in Business Management or related field;
- Minimum 2 – 3 years related experience in Trade Marketing, Export Marketing or Key Account Management in FMCG industry or Retail or Export-driven industries
- Experience of project management in set deliverables.
- Team player and the ability to work across different multi-media platforms and departments
- To set your own priorities in line with business needs and work constructively within the team and on your own initiative
- Ability to solve problems, create solutions and analyse research projects.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Ms Excel & MS Power Point), SAP is a bonus
- Process-oriented, strong analytically minded and ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt in different cultural and volatile environments.
- Experience in export market development will be added advantage.
