We are looking for a Trade Marketing Executive to develop the category agenda for all trade channels, supporting long-term category growth and increasing market share based on shopper and customer requirements.
A day in the life of a Trade Marketing Executive
- Generate compelling shopper stories to develop winning strategies for categories against competitors in various channels.
- Support the ICP process by identifying key opportunities, understanding shoppers, categories, customers, competition, channels, and external environment, and consolidating the total category ICP.
- Implement activities that drive category/sub-category growth according to promotion, pricing strategies, and guidelines via the MOR platform.
- Execute omnichannel strategies and prioritize channels for the category/sub-category, working with Channel Managers to recommend tailored channel plans aligned with overall market strategy.
- Develop briefs with the Marketing team and collaborate with Shopper Activation and Space Planning teams to ensure delivery of in-store solutions for field sales.
- Align and consolidate TTS spend plans versus actuals for the category.
- Manage gaps between objectives and actuals in driving SRM implementation to meet retailer, shopper, and consumer expectations with the sales team.
- Prepare and implement new product trade launches, including listing materials, planograms, distribution, and visibility touchpoints for the sales team.
- Assist in customized promotional activities based on shopper insights and current market knowledge with the sales team.
- Identify and recommend promotional opportunities for Nestlé categories and brands.
- Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years’ experience in Trade Marketing and/or Marketing with Sales, demonstrating strong functional skills and leadership capabilities.
- Proven success in a customer-facing role, understanding customer needs and the sales process.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with Nielsen and Kantar data.
