We are seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to develop the category agenda across all trade channels, supporting long-term category growth and increasing market share based on shopper and customer requirements.

A day in the life of a Trade Marketing Executive

  • Develop compelling shopper stories to craft winning strategies for categories versus competitors in various channels.
  • Support the ICP process by identifying key opportunities through insights on shoppers, categories, customers, competitors, channels, and the external environment, then consolidate the total category ICP.
  • Implement activities that promote category/sub-category growth, adhering to promotion, pricing strategies, and guidelines via the MOR platform.
  • Execute omnichannel strategies and prioritize channels for the category/sub-category, collaborating with Channel Managers to recommend tailored channel plans aligned with overall market strategy.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop briefs and coordinate with Shopper Activation and Space Planning teams to deliver in-store solutions for field sales.
  • Align and consolidate TTS spend plans versus actuals for the category.
  • Manage gaps between objectives and actuals in SRM implementation, ensuring retailer, shopper, and consumer expectations are met in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Prepare and execute new product trade launches by providing listing materials, planograms, distribution plans, and visibility touchpoints to the sales team.
  • Assist in customizing promotional activities based on shopper insights and current market knowledge in partnership with the sales team.
  • Identify and recommend promotional opportunities for Nestlé categories and brands.
  • Ensure compliance with all company principles and policies.

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing and/or Marketing with Sales experience, demonstrating strong functional skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven success in a customer-facing role, understanding customer needs and the sales process.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with Nielsen and Kantar data.
