Job summary

UOB Innovation Hub 2 in Malaysia is seeking a Trade Finance Operations professional with 2+ years of experience to process LC, SBLC, documentary collections and trade loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies. You will liaise with counterparties, maintain records, and resolve issues, applying knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, URC and AML/CFT guidelines.

A degree in a relevant field and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, with certifications like CDCS/CITF/CSDG considered

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Trade Finance Operations experience (LC Advising / import/export invoice financing / factoring / forfaiting).
Sound knowledge in trade finance regulations and instruments (UCP, ISBP, URC, URR, Incoterms).
Familiarity with AML/CFT Guidelines for Trade Finance.
Meticulous with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Accurately process trade finance transactions (LC, SBLC, Documentary Collections, Trade Loans).
Ensure timely execution and regulatory/compliance adherence.
Verify documents for completeness against governing rules (UCP 600, ISBP).
Liaise with counterparties and internal stakeholders; maintain records.
Assist in resolving operational issues to ensure seamless trade finance operations.
