This position is accountable for the implementation and management of Jemco’s Total Productive Maintenance Program, including the Lean-Six Sigma capabilities at JEMCO. The TPM is responsible for ensuring that the Machine & Productive Maintenance is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. This position is to work closely with Production, QA, Warehouse & its related departments.
Job Responsibilities
Involve in planning, coordinating, and implementing maintenance activities by managing a team of maintenance technicians/ supervisors to ensure smooth plant operations.
Coordinate with other departments/divisions to share practices and improve results.
Provide technical leadership within the Scope of Works with shop floor personnel to lead improvements in relation to Preventive Maintenance.
Understand financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), map TPM implementation strategy by both milestones and metrics.
Respond swiftly to unexpected maintenance issues, providing immediate solutions to prevent operational disruptions, and develop long-term strategies to prevent recurrence.
Strategize to optimize machine uptime and response times while managing labor and spare parts costs effectively.
Monitor and analyze maintenance costs as reflected in the profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure cost-effectiveness of the maintenance operations.
Lead teams to develop and maintain engineering competencies at the site by coaching and mentoring to build capabilities.
Initiate swift action for Safety & Environmental issues.
Provide overall support, assistance, direction and communication to Management teams regarding TPM Initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a TPM leadership role.
Strong knowledge of TPM principles, including Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Training & Development.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools.
Analyze OEE, downtime, and other key metrics to drive improvements.
Strong leadership and team management skills; able to influence across departments.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train, coach, and engage cross-functional teams.
