About the role

YD Planners' is seeking a talented Town Planner to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a full-time Town Planner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of urban development and infrastructure projects within our organisation. Your strategic planning expertise will be instrumental in driving the company's ambitious growth plans.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing comprehensive town planning strategies to support the company's projects

Conducting detailed analyses of land use, zoning, and infrastructure to inform planning decisions

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Preparing detailed town planning reports, proposals, and presentations

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on town planning matters

Representing the company in stakeholder and community engagement initiatives

What we're looking for

Degree in Urban Planning, Town Planning, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consulting or strategy-focused

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders

Proficiency in using town planning software and tools, such as GIS, CAD, and data analysis applications

Knowledge of relevant town planning regulations, policies, and best practices

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team
