• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cutting tools engineering & management.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, shrink-fit systems, and work-holding principles.
• Hands-on experience with Zoller tool pre-setter, Zoller Tool Management Systems (TMS), Powershrink Fit Machine and tool inventory systems.
• Solid understanding of CNC machining processes and shop floor operations.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and accountability mindset.

Responsibilities

• Propose tooling strategies for CAM programs considering material, machine, cycle time, life, and cost.
• Create, release, and maintain tool data in the Tool Management System (TMS).
• Measure and verify tool assemblies with Zoller pre-setter per TMS specs.
• Audit tooling setups and enforce compliance with approved TMS assemblies.
• Manage cutting tool inventory and ensure ATS stock reflects physical stock.
• Drive tooling standardization, cost reduction, and support NPI and first-article builds.
