Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company, located in Batu Kawan, Penang, is looking for a Tooling Engineer. Responsibilities include fabricating tools, conducting performance tests, preparing first article samples, and supporting production. Ideal candidates should have at least a Diploma in Tool & Die Making and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the medical molding industry. Qualifications

• Typically requires a Diploma in Tool & Die Making/Tool & Die Engineering.
• At least 5 years of related experience in the tooling industry.
• Preferably experience in medical molding/tooling.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new metal stamping tool and jigs & fixtures.
• Perform tool testing and fine-tuning for optimum performance.
• Prepare first article samples and submit for approval.
• Assist production departments with delivery commitments.
• Evaluate tooling performance and lead improvement programs.
