ManpowerGroup in Malaysia invites applications for a TIG Welder to join our manufacturing operations. You will perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel components according to procedures, read engineering drawings, and prepare materials.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of TIG welding experience, a technical qualification, and familiarity with welding quality standards. Fresh graduates are welcome; training provided and benefits include EPF, SOCSO, and annual leave.
Minimum SPM, SKM, or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimum 1-3 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
Valid TIG Welding Certification (preferred).
Proficient in TIG (GTAW) welding techniques.
AWS, ASME, or equivalent welding qualification is an added advantage.
Experience welding stainless steel sheet metal, tubing, and fabricated components.
Able to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Knowledge of stainless steel welding processes and material characteristics.
Familiarity with welding quality standards and inspection requirements.
Skilled in using measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, measuring tapes, and weld gauges.
Fresh graduate in Certificate or Diploma are welcome to apply.

Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel components, weldments, and assemblies according to approved welding procedures and work instructions.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications.
Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, fitting, alignment, and joint preparation.
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment and ensure correct welding parameters are used.
Produce high-quality welds that meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
Perform visual inspection of completed welds and identify defects requiring repair or rework.
Carry out weld repairs as required while maintaining product quality requirements.
Use measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and weld quality.
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine housekeeping and basic preventive maintenance.
Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and PPE requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and reduce welding defects.
Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve welding-related issues.
Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
