Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a senior security operations professional to act as the SPOC for our MSSP Tier 1 SOC, managing Microsoft Sentinel and CrowdStrike alerts while coordinating across Malaysia and the UK.

You will investigate incidents per CIR plans, lead RCA efforts, and deliver regular security updates to technical teams and executives. Strong IAM and firewall experience are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, IT, or related field.
• 7–9 years in cyber security operations, including 3–4 years in Tier 2 SOC or IR.
• Hands-on Microsoft Sentinel experience: KQL, analytics rules, onboarding, tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security monitoring.
• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon EDR: triage, IOC management, rules.
• Fortinet FortiGate knowledge across multi-site environments.
• Proven incident response, containment, RCA, and executive reporting.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, vulnerability management and audits.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Malaysia & UK.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary SPOC for MSSP Tier 1 SOC, managing SIEM alerts and ITSM tickets.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents per CIR plan, with timely containment.
• Lead RCA, prepare incident reports, and deliver weekly/monthly security updates.
• Monitor Entra ID and on-prem AD for suspicious activity, MFA gaps, and risky sign-ins.
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning, patch reviews, firewall audits, and access reviews.
• Develop and maintain security policies, IR playbooks, DR/BCP plans, risk registers.
• Create and fine-tune Sentinel rules, KQL queries, and threat-hunting use cases.
• Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations to teams in MY & UK.
