Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (DL – PENANG) SDN BHD in Penang seeks a PCBA debug/repair technician to troubleshoot complex assemblies and support engineering with functionality issues. The role involves using oscilloscopes, conducting tests, and guiding junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with at least 2 years of PCBA debugging or electronics manufacturing experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in PCBA debug, repair, or electronics manufacturing.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies at the component level.
• Operates electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and conducts special tests as required.
• Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
• Collaborates with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
• Presents training to the new build and service assembler teams when necessary.
• Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents.
• Helps monitor productivity of equipment by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates.
• Assists with the installation, debug and validation of process equipment.
• Follows all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Develops and maintains Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA.
• Provides training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians.
