Summary
The candidate will be responsible for resolving manufacturing floor test and assembly issues, improving product quality, and reducing test cycle time.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to:
- Providing improved yield, productivity, and cycle time
- Supporting factory floor activities, such as troubleshooting and disposition of rejects, and determining root causes of production issues
- Providing training to production personnel
- Supporting new product introductions, creating test procedures, documenting, and implementing processes for new products
- Developing procedures and tools for testing
- Developing production and characterization test specifications
- Working on cost reduction and cycle time reduction projects
- Ensuring equipment is properly tested, calibrated, and certified according to procedures
- Maintaining accurate documentation, records, and archiving measurement data related to product parameters and process control
- Developing test fixtures as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; Diploma holders with >5 years of experience may be considered
- Solid knowledge in electronics, analog, power, and digital circuits
- Minimum 4 years of practical test experience with semiconductor equipment such as Etch or Deposition products
- Experience developing test programs using TestStand or equivalent
- Familiarity with High Voltage Test and Insulation Testing
- Experience with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, or C programming
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for product final quality testing
- Ability to analyze processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and yield improvement opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and controls
- Preferred skills in tool and fixture design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
