About the role

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Test Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and solutions. This is a contract role that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects and contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure the quality of software applications and systems

Lead and manage a team of test engineers, coordinating their efforts to achieve project milestones and deliverables

Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and define testing objectives

Design and oversee the execution of various testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing

Analyse test results, identify and document defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution

Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports

Continuously improve testing processes and practices, incorporating best practices and industry standards

Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project stakeholders

What we're looking for

At least 10 years working experience in software testing in Technology organization of which at least 3 years leading and overseeing quality assurance work or test management, preferably in banking industry

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing testing teams in the delivery of complex software projects

Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile/DevOps practices

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficient in using test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla

Ability to design and execute test plans and test activities for a portfolio of systems with overlapping development schedules and release cycles
