Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Ipoh, Malaysia seeks a Diploma-qualified technician to maintain tester functionality and support calibration, testing, and setup activities onsite or hybrid.

You will assist with tester configuration, ensure quality compliance, and help improve test efficiency through ergonomic improvements and automation initiatives. The role requires 1+ year in equipment maintenance or testing, good communication, and strong computer literacy; prior tester experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering or relevant.
• At least 1 year of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience; other candidates may be considered.
• Good computer literacy and communication skills.
• Experience in testers or equipment configuring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tester functionality and perform systematic DV on testers.
• Convert tester setups as per production and planner triggers.
• Assist new tester setup and tester GRR processes.
• Handle housing keeping for all testers.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations in line with Quality Policy.
