Job description

Design, implement, and optimize test processes for electronic assemblies (PCBA, modules, and

finished products).

Develop test plans, procedures, and specifications in alignment with product requirements.

Evaluate and select test equipment (ATE, ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Testers, etc.).

Ensure test coverage meets quality and reliability standards.

2. Test System Development & Maintenance

Oversee the design and validation of test fixtures, software, and hardware.

Troubleshoot and resolve test system failures and inefficiencies.

Maintain documentation for test procedures, schematics, and software.

3. Quality & Compliance

Work with Quality Assurance to analyze test failures and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, IPC, IEC, etc.).

Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and defect prevention initiatives.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with Design Engineering to ensure Design for Testability (DFT) principles are applied.

Partner with Production to optimize test throughput and yield.

Liaise with suppliers for test equipment procurement and calibration.

Reduce test cycle time and improve first-pass yield.

Identify cost-saving opportunities in test processes and equipment.

Implement automation where feasible to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field

At least 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing testing, preferably in a multinational

company

Strong knowledge of test methodologies (ICT, Funconal Test, Boundary Scan, etc.).

Experience with LabVIEW, Python, C++, or other test automation software.

Proficiency in test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.).

Knowledge of industry standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ISO 9001).

Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, Excel).

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
