In Malaysia, Bosch is active in four business sectors: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. Construction began in May 2021, with production starting in 2023. This expansion addresses the growing demand for semiconductor components, focusing on final testing of components manufactured at Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany. The plant will also include R&D and training facilities.

Job Description

  • Installation and ramp-up of a new reliability test laboratory for ASIC Semiconductors from scratch.
  • Coordination and tracking of schedules and testing costs.
  • Cross-departmental coordination of test design with involved areas.
  • Coordination of test implementation in close cooperation with all involved areas, considering available resources.
  • Address capacity bottlenecks by analyzing effects, developing solutions, and coordinating with reliability engineers.
  • Perform deviation and error analyses for test setups in case of anomalies.
  • Implement and maintain IT infrastructure in cooperation with the lead laboratory in Reutlingen, Germany.
  • Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Release new test setups, develop maintenance procedures, and provide technical support for failures.
  • Monitor overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets; implement cost-saving measures.
  • Willingness to travel to China and Germany for training and business trips.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Science or Engineering (Physics, Electrical, Electronic).
