PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. Construction began in May 2021, with the first series of production expected in 2023. This facility will focus on the final testing of semiconductors and sensors, primarily those manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. It will also include R&D and training facilities.

Job Description
  • Installation and ramp-up of a new reliability test laboratory for ASIC Semiconductors from scratch
  • Coordination and tracking of schedules and testing costs
  • Cross-departmental coordination of test design with involved areas
  • Coordination of test implementation in cooperation with all involved areas, considering available resources
  • Address capacity bottlenecks by analyzing effects, developing solutions, and coordinating with reliability engineers
  • Conduct deviation and error analyses for test setups in case of anomalies
  • Introduction and maintenance of IT infrastructure in collaboration with the lead laboratory in Reutlingen, Germany
  • Participation in automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Release of new test setups, development of maintenance procedures, and providing technical support during failures
  • Monitoring overall equipment effectiveness
  • Achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets; implementing cost-saving measures
  • Willingness to travel to China and Germany for training
