Job summary

Bosch Penang Sdn Bhd is seeking a Test Systems Engineer to set up functional test systems for product lines per PAV specs and manage equipment, interfaces and fixtures. You will train maintenance staff and ensure FPY and OEE targets while supporting Lean process improvements.

Responsibilities include project meetings, line support for troubleshooting, data analysis for time and efficiency improvements, and early involvement in new model discussions with PTE/CoC and TEF7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of relevant internship or industrial training.
• Basic knowledge of electronics testing and measurement techniques.
• Familiar with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter and power supply.
• Understanding of test methodologies and RCCA problem-solving concepts.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, C, LabVIEW) is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; willing to learn and work independently with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Set up functional test systems for product lines per PAV specs and manage equipment and fixtures.
• Track project budget and ensure equipment costs stay within plan.
• Deliver test systems on time to production per milestones and release procedures.
• Train maintenance staff to handle test system breakdowns and achieve FPY/OEE targets.
• Apply lean standardization across projects and participate in project meetings.
• Support line for troubleshooting test systems.
• Analyze MIS data and coordinate improvements on test time and machine efficiency.
• Engage early in new model discussions to ensure smooth setup.
