Job summary

Robert Bosch Semiconductor Penang Sdn Bhd is seeking a Test System Engineer to set up derivative test systems for product lines and ensure on-time delivery according to project milestones. The role involves coordinating with CoC and TEF7 teams, managing equipment purchases, and releasing test systems per procedure.

Qualifications

Job Description

To work on the following tasks with guidance:

1. 1. To setup derivative test system for product lines based on test specification (PAV) provided by CoC team
   accordingly to following requirement:
   a. To track project budget and ensure equipment cost within the planed budget.
   b. On time delivery of test systems to the production line according to project milestone (include
   manage of equipment, hardware interface and mechanical jig and fixture purchase)
   c. Release the test system according to Test System Release Procedure.
   d. To train and coach maintenance team to be able to handle test system breakdown more
   effectively and maintain test system in achieving FOR (NTF related FOR) and OEE target.
   (eg. Propose Preventive Maintenance plan, analysis tool of breakdown causes, Test System
   Setup guideline and test fixture and job design concept)
2. 2. To participate in project meeting to clarify plant/ production requirement on test system.
3. 3. Responsible on full test implementation according to test procedure according to PAV defined by CoC team
   and achieve defined test coverage, make sure alignment and calibration process (such of flashing of
   memory, tuner alignment/ calibration.) is in line with test procedure.
4. 4. To support line for trouble shooting in test system.
5. 5. General support on the following:
   
   • To participate in FOR daily meeting, project meeting to monitor daily operation issue test related.
   • To upgrade software to the latest DUT software released by ENG.
   • To analysis MIS data and coordinate improvement activities on test time reduction and machine
     efficiency.
   • Early involved in new model concept discussion with CoC and TEF7, to ensure smooth handling
     from new project set up team after SOP.
6. 6. Any other TEF7 related duties assigned to.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree inElectrical and Electronics or equivalent.
• At least 1- 2 yearsof working experience inthe related field is required for this position.
• Able to work as team in transferring technical known how.
• Able to source for off shelf solution to meet production testing need.
• Able to design new test concept /platform base on product and market need.
