A leading IT business process services company seeks a QA Engineer to lead testing efforts. The role requires developing comprehensive test plans, conducting various testing types, and collaborating with product teams to support quality assurance in an agile environment. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have proficiency in automation tools and testing methodologies.
QA Engineer will plan, coordinate, direct, and design testing activities of the organization. Work closely with product teams to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective QA and testing solutions for all aspects of the organization. QA Engineer will ensure that IT QA / testing policies, procedures and best practices across the regions are met. Support delivery of stable, professional products by organizing structured testing in close cooperation with all respective agile teams.
Responsibilities:
Independently develop ERP system test plans and solutions, organize and review test requirements, and design, write, and execute test cases.
Conduct functional testing, interface testing, stability testing, performance testing, security testing, and compatibility testing for software products.
Maintain data related to automated testing tools and scripts, and use automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium) to improve testing efficiency.
Familiar with performance testing, proficient in using JMeter, and understand its working principles and implementation methods.
Proficient in interface testing methods and commonly used tools.
Analyze, report, and track issues identified during testing to ensure timely and reasonable resolution.
Summarize and analyze test results to provide data support for product release decisions.
Familiar with the development process and testing procedures of medium and large-scale software projects, with experience in Agile development environments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor ’ s degree or higher in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, or related fields.
Location: Living in Malaysia for a long time.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in software testing or automated test script.
Technical Skills:
Familiar with software testing methods, tools, and processes, with experience in test case design.
Proficient in interface testing and automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Postman, JMeter).
Personal Skills:
Able to work independently, adept at summarizing, and possess strong documentation skills.
Strong observation and analytical skills, with hands-on capabilities and a proactive approach to technical research.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English, can spoke Mandarin. (required for cross-border team collaboration).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plus. Experience with Enterprise application system or ERP system testing. Able to work well under pressure.
