We are seeking a Test Process Engineer who is driven by challenges, eager to learn, and committed to contributing through continuous improvement initiatives and yield enhancement efforts.

Position Summary:

Lumileds is seeking a Test Process Engineer responsible for multiple key products in the Automotive Production Line within the Lumileds Automotive Manufacturing Department.

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate and lead key project initiatives with cross-functional teams, including process improvement activities and daily production coordination.
  • Perform data analysis to identify insights for project improvements.
  • Assist operations in improving UPH, process yield, and efficiency.
  • Support yield loss analysis and feedback observations to key personnel.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, process engineering, IE, and equipment engineering for technical support.
  • Experience in LED and semiconductor testing is required.
  • Focus on backend process and quality control performance.
  • Knowledge of MSA correlation and GR&R is advantageous.
  • Focus on process capability and manufacturability, minimizing process variation.
  • Provide technical leadership and be recognized as a consultant in the field.
  • Recommend new technologies aligned with business strategy.
  • Lead cross-department programs impacting business strategy and technical decisions.
  • Support new product evaluation, manufacturing cost reduction, and process improvements.
  • Design and implement quality plans and monitor performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Lead projects to improve product and process yields, quality, and cost.
  • Provide ongoing technical training and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, security, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, E&E Engineering, Material Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • Proficient in report compilation and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Experience in data analysis using Minitab, JMP, or Excel.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
