Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Set up functional test system for product lines based on test specification (PAV) provided by the PTE team.
    • Track project budget and ensure equipment cost within the planned budget.
    • Ensure on‑time delivery of test systems to the production line according to project milestone (including management of equipment, hardware interface, and mechanical jig and fixture purchase).
    • Release the test system according to the Test System Release Procedure.
    • Train and coach the maintenance team to handle test system breakdowns more effectively and maintain the system to achieve FPY (NTF related FOR) and OEE targets (e.g., propose preventive maintenance plans, analysis tool for breakdown causes, test system set‑up guideline, and test fixture and job design concepts).
    • Apply standardization in the functional area to create a lean process across projects.
    • Participate in project meetings to clarify plant/production requirements for the test system.
  2. Responsible for full test implementation according to the test procedure defined by the PTE team and achieve the defined test coverage, ensuring alignment and calibration processes (such as flashing of memory, tuner alignment/calibration) are in line with the test procedure.
  3. Support the line for troubleshooting in the test system.
  4. Provide general support on the following:
    • Support operation on functional area performance in FPY, TFOR, OEE.
    • Analyze MIS data and coordinate improvement activities on test time reduction and machine efficiency.
    • Engage early in new model concept discussions with PTE/CoC and TEF7 to ensure smooth handling from the new project set‑up team after SOP.
  5. Perform any other TEF7 related duties assigned to the role.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of relevant experience (internship or industrial training acceptable).
  • Basic knowledge of electronics testing and measurement techniques.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, etc.).
  • Understanding of test methodologies and problem‑solving concepts (RCCA).
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, C, LabVIEW) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently with guidance.
