The PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s latest expansion in Malaysia, focusing on semiconductor testing in Batu Kawan, Penang. Construction began in May 2021, with production starting in 2023. The plant will handle final testing of semiconductors and sensors from Bosch's Dresden facility, also housing R&D and training facilities.

Job Description
  • Perform maintenance on machines and calibrate testers according to the maintenance plan.
  • Analyze equipment downtime, repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, and release equipment according to engineering specifications.
  • Localize failures on measurement boards and PCBs, and repair boards as needed.
  • Prepare daily summaries on BIN topics.
  • Autonomously adapt and extend circuit diagrams based on engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with equipment engineers to develop measures to reduce failures, improve quality and output, and reduce costs with process and equipment engineering teams.
  • Analyze failures on carriers.
  • Coordinate all changes with lead plant engineering.
  • Take responsibility for 8D reports and dispose of lots accordingly.
  • Instruct operators in coordination with production management.
  • Support production activities.
  • Assist with FMEA and Control Plan updates.
  • Ensure availability of spare parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Over 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering.
