Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kulai is looking for a Test Engineer to support RMA and Debug teams. Responsibilities include verifying boards, monitoring test yields, and performing PCB debugging. Job description

Support RMA Team in verifying RMA boards daily.

Assist Debug Team in verifying PCBA WP50 daily.

Monitor and take action on test yield daily, aiming for ≥ 95%.

Assist engineers in new product setup and verification.

Ensure correct test setup and rectify failures.

Initiate corrective action meetings when product yield is low.

Maintain test status records.

Resolve issues related to test rejects.

Perform debugging on PCB.

Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve test yield.

Assist test engineers with changes to improve quality and productivity of jigs, testers, and systems.

Evaluate board failures and quality.

Ensure rework methods comply with product requirements.

Update and control daily debug work-in-progress (WIP) and movement.

Use hand tools and operate electrical and mechanical components during PC operations.

Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and systems.

Maintain and repair technical systems following safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with engineers to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.

Record and analyze data accurately with proper documentation.

Support setup and maintenance of lab or workshop tools and equipment.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) qualification or equivalent.
  • Willing to work in Senai.
  • Preferably non-executives with experience in Test Engineering/Debug.
