Job summary

Palco Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Test Engineer to join our electronics team. You will perform hands-on testing and debugging of PCBA products, set up testers, verify results, and troubleshoot issues to ensure product quality while supporting FA activities.

Ideally you have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in test/debug environments, with hands-on PCBA repair and the ability to read schematics and BOM.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in test/debug environments.
• Hands-on PCBA repair/debug experience.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams and BOM.
• Familiar with measurement instruments (DMM, oscilloscope).

Responsibilities

• Support Test, Debug, FA activity for PCBA products.
• Tester setup, verification, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Interface with support team and test technicians on hardware/software debugging issues.

What we're looking for

Familiarity with PCBA test methods, equipment, and repair procedures.

Proficiency in test equipment and software tools for debugging and failure analysis

Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Requirement:

Degree holder in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or relevant engineering field.

At least 3 years working experience in Test/Debug environment.

Hands on Experience in Test and PCBA repair/debug.

Capable of reading and understanding electronic schematics, diagrams and BOM.

Familiarity in handling measurement instruments such as Digital Multimeter (DMM), Oscilloscope and other common measurement instrument.
