Job description

Location: South West - Cornwall up to Bristol and Bath, Exeter, Plymouth

Product: Joint preservation with a focus on knee (e.g. allografts, biologics, ligament reconstruction)

Proudly specialising in Joint Preservation and Extremities across the UK and Ireland, they work with a range of suppliers to offer healthcare professionals choice from the latest advancements, alongside their product advice and procedural knowledge.

What you’ll be doing:

You will take responsibility for sales and account management in the South West of England, working in theatres, ITU, outpatient and community settings in close association with consultants, clinicians and nursing staff.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive new business and support the existing customer base.
  • Deliver training and offer sales support for current and new customers.
  • Present professional business cases and value propositions.
  • Help to develop new ideas within the business and bring innovative new products to market.
  • Assist with the tender process to ensure products are accepting into the NHS and other medical organisations.

Here’s what you need:

  • You will have a good level of industry sales experience to hit the ground running, ideally in orthopaedics. A background in joint preservation/sports medicine/arthroplasty would be advantageous.
  • You will have a demonstrable record of sales success and be forward-thinking, collaborative and results focused.
  • You will have a strong set of clinician relationships within the field of orthopaedics built on a broad level of personal respect gained within the industry.

Basic Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 dependent on skills/experience

Bonus: c£30,000 OTE. It’s 10% of growth on prior year. If growth exceeds 200k then they guarantee minimum £100k earnings.
